Ra Ra Riot released their follow up album to The Rhumb Line. This album is different but not in the way that will make you forget what made their first album amazing. This album feels like it is very heartfelt, giving the impression that it’s an outpour of love and emotion. The band kept a lot of the same themes as before, you’re going to still hear the awesome string arrangements which one of the reasons that make this band amazing.

To put it bluntly the album is a lot like Rhumb but there is less of a poppy emphasis and more of an indulgence in intellectual musical endeavors.
