An article to think about social media and it’s effects on our society. Every month I get my magazines I love to read about art, design and the action sports world. Sure I have concerns for the environment but I still so subscribe to things that ultimately destroy trees, one can only hope that they use recycled paper. But right now that’s besides the point. I love reading something that is one paper especially after hours at work in front of a screen. I do love the convenience of new media and our laptops and phones but paper is ever so nice every now and again. I’ve always been a fan of “the medium is the message” which is an idea from Marshall Mcluhan. Just remember, just because you have something to say doesn’t mean it’s intellectual. Read this article it’s really interesting as to the direction our society is going in.
